No. 9 of the 30 day movement challenge! Time visit the floor. Getting up from the floor with or without hands are a very useful skill. It also a fun to challenge friends and loves ones with. Start slow, listen to your body and gradually work your way through the challenges. If 4-7 are difficult use one or both hands and 1-3 fingers on each to support yourself. As you get stronger use only one hand and fewer fingers.
THE SETUP.
Find a floor beam or something similar to balance on.
Start a timer 2 minutes or challenge a friend.
Start with appropriate level.
1. Up and down with support.
2. The lunge to fisher man sit.
3. Tripod sit down.
4. Cross legged squat sit.
5. Side squat sit.
6. Squat sit.
7. One legged squat sit.
Try to do 5-10 reps per level and then move up. Try to combine different movments with each other. Be gentle and donβt go to hard. π
